Event Description:
The Seward County Kennel Club dog show is an American Kennel Club sanctioned show.  It starts with breed judging at 9:00 am.  At approximately 1:00 pm, the breed winners go to group and the groups are judged. All of the group winners advance to Best In Show judging.  Each day ends with one dog going undefeated for Best in Show.  There will also be some dogs competing in Obedience and Rally classes during the day.  There are usually around 600 entries each day.  Since this is an AKC sanctioned show the entries are limited to dogs registered in some way with the American Kennel Club.  Entries are sent to Onofrio dog shows in Oklahoma City, OK and close 2 1/2 weeks before the show.  Dogs come from all over the U.S. and sometimes Canada and Mexico.

Come and watch your favorite breeds compete.  To get information on when the particular breeds will be competing you can go to http://www.onofrio.com/ and look up the Seward County Kennel Club and find out what time each breed will be shown.
